MANAGING YOUR REGISTRY

HOW CAN WE PERSONALISE OUR LIST?

Guests can read a message from you when they visit your list, your chance to thank them in advance for their purchase or as in most cases, display your hidden literary talents. You can even add a photo of yourselves. You can also mark gifts as favourites so your guests can see what you really have your hearts set on and split large gifts over $349 into shares.

WHAT IF WE CHANGE OUR MIND AFTER CHOOSING GIFTS?

Don’t worry because irrespective of whether you selected Standard or Flexible Delivery, you can make changes at any time up until a gift has been purchased via your own personal login. Even better, if you notice that all the gifts under $100 (or over $200) have been purchased, you can add more at any time to ensure there is always a wide selection of gifts and prices for your guests – right up to the day of the wedding.

HOW WILL WE KNOW WHICH GIFTS OUR GUESTS BOUGHT?

You can access your Thank You Card list anytime, anywhere, via your personal login. You can even opt to receive an email every time a gift is purchased. There are no excuses for not having written your thank you cards quickly after the wedding! This list can be accessed right up until after the gifts have been delivered and will not change even if you make some final changes upon closing.

WHAT IF ALL OUR GIFTS DON’T GET PURCHASED?

You are not obliged to buy any gifts not purchased.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD WE CHECK OUR LIST?

You can opt to receive an email each time a gift is purchased, so you can keep up to date on who’s bought you what. Alternatively you can access your Thank You card list at any time detailing who, what, their address and message. Adding gifts in different price ranges should be done weekly in the few weeks before the wedding as more guests purchase gifts.

WHEN SHOULD WE CLOSE OUR LIST?

We suggest you close your list the week or so after the wedding once you’ve had a chance to open any gifts brought on the day. Leaving it too long increases the chance of certain items becoming unavailable (unless you chose Standard Delivery where every gift will have been ordered upon guest purchase anyway). If you opted for Flexible Delivery, your gifts won’t be organised for delivery until you close your list.

WHAT IF WE’D LIKE TO BUY ITEMS NOT PURCHASED TO COMPLETE A SET?

After your event, we invite you to enjoy up to 25% off items remaining on your registry, as well as any items you wish to add (certain exceptions apply).

WILL OUR GIFTS BE WRAPPED?

You can choose to have your gifts beautifully wrapped however most customers ask for our environmentally friendly bags developed by Wedding List Co, to keep and use at your convenience for packing, storage, moving, travelling... the uses are limitless. Given you’ve chosen the gifts and seen the Thank You card list, they are not exactly a surprise anymore so the environmental benefits of not choosing wrapping far outweigh the unwrapping.

HOW WILL OUR GIFTS BE DELIVERED?

We offer delivery anywhere in Australia. Deliveries occur Monday to Friday or Saturday depending on the delivery location, click here for more details.

HOW LONG WILL WE WAIT UNTIL OUR GIFTS ARE DELIVERED?

If you choose Flexible Delivery, once you have closed your list all your gifts will be delivered to your door approximately four to eight weeks after, giving you the perfect amount of time to make room for all the new gorgeous goodies and to get back from your honeymoon. This time will be less for smaller weddings or fewer gifts and is usually before you receive your photos from the photographer.

Any special order gifts such as Christofle or Legle de Limoge which come from Europe may take a little longer and this is denoted against any long lead time gifts on your list upon closing. These gifts will come separately after the rest of your gifts so as not to hold them up.

If you choose Standard Delivery, your gifts will be ordered as guests purchase them and you are unable to make any changes, so these gifts will be delivered within 2-4 weeks after the wedding date (depending on how many guests have bought last minute the days before the wedding!).

Our most important company goal upon which every employee is measured, is how quickly we can get your gifts to you. The management, buying and warehouse team meet daily to discuss how it is tracking. Any delays are only ever an unforseen delay from one of our 300 suppliers.

WHAT IF OTHER REGISTRIES PROMISE TO DELIVER FASTER?

Every member of our team is focused on getting your gifts to you as quickly as possible. Other registries may state they can deliver faster, but after almost 10 years and thousands of registries, we are confident that our large range and fantastic website are balanced with our delivery times.
